Far West celebrates 75 years of Snow Sport History.

2000 July 24 J. Stanley Mullin died.
2001   Ski Green Valley Snow Bowl was purchased by the Calvary Chapel in Costa Mesa. The new owner intends to transform the former snowboard only resort that featured hard rock and alcohol into a ski and snowboard resort with a juice bar. The area will be open to the public.
2002   Snow Summit purchased Big Bear Mountain and established the marketing entity known as Big Bear Mountain Resorts. Big Bear Mountain will appeal to snowboarders while Snow Summit will cater to families.
2004   Mountain High buys Ski Sunrise from Howard More for $395,000. The area will be used for snow play and beginner lessons.
  November Andy Hauk died.
2005   Far West celebrated it's 75th anniversary.
2007 April Dick Goetzman died.
